I was pushing the I LOVE BROWN envelope when I submitted these for publication, I know!!! But I still love brown, especially for a masculine card... even though these were total REJECTS!!
I themed these for Father's Day or a Birthday for someone a little more mature.... Lots of greens and browns and kraft.... and I love the flying machine stamps from Hero Arts, dreamy!!
I made lots of little flags out of a swag of strips of co-ordinating papers for these cards, three in total... adding some cogs, that a friend had gifted me, to the mix. I didn't really colour the images, but I did block colour the popped up pieces of all of the flying machines, I can't remember exactly what colour, but likely to be one of my all time favourites E31 Brick Beige!!
What's in it?

Paper: Authentique: Free Bird Series--Nest; Kraft; SU: Early Espresso
Ink: Memento: Rich Cocoa; Copic Marker; Distress: Frayed Burlap
Extras: Laser Cut Cogs (thanks Helen!); May Arts: Twine; Vintage Buttons.

The "publication decision makers" have me bemused at times, too. These are great.....and so YOU! Glad the cogs found a happy home.
