Waltzingmouse Stamps: March Release--Blog Waltz

Three fabulous new sets are now available from Waltzingmouse Stamps and as is tradition the Design Team celebrates new releases with a Blog Waltz.  If you have come here from Iwona blog you are on the right path, if you need to check your stop, or wish to start from the beginning, head on over to Claire's Blog.

There will be a prize of a stamp set of choice from a random drawing from comments left on each of the stops for this Waltz.  Commenter’s will have until 11 March: 11:59 PM (GMT); 12 March: 5:59AM Central, 3:59 AM Pacific and 6:59 AM Eastern to leave comments (Which I believe is 12 March 9:59PM Queensland Time).

For today's card I have used the Folk Art Labels No. 25 and Folk Art Medallion sets, these pair really nicely together and have endless background building possibilities.  I kept the background one colour but incorporated rows of the garland stamp from Folk Art Medallion, inter-dispersed with matching flowers.  This is stamped directly to ledger style patterned paper, and this time I resisted adding any vintage ink to the edges, clean in style but still folksy!

The label is a perfect match for Spellbinders Nestabilities--Labels 25, and I hand cut a border around the stamped layer.  The garland is hand cut, popped and paired with another of the flowers from the set, with a little button to finish this element.  Some layers of card and paper, and a curtain of tulle make up the other elements of this card.

The next stop on this Blog Waltz is the lovely Jeanne.

Enjoy ordering your new little rodent stamps, I look forward to seeing them in frequent use out there in the blogosphere!
